Its another beginning of a brand new week! Ashlee spent the night with us yesterday instead of going over to her nanny’s place. We are trying our best to spend more time with her to establish a stronger bond. Despite all the “enjoyable” hardworks and shorter hours of sleeps, we agreed its pretty worth it. After all, she is our only little princess!
Anyway, last night, just before falling asleep, Ashlee had her favourite fruit, cherry and pear. She loves fruits (anything you can give her she will eat it!), can’t get enough of it! After thinking she had too much, I stopped giving her and she started screaming! Ashlee is slowly mastering the act of manipulation. She uses the act of crying very effectively. We tried to persevere but most of the time we surrendered.
Yoi, thats me with the pear in my mouth!
And thats daddy's feeding me cherry. I loved it! Long Live Cherry!!!
Then it was time for her to sleep. We have developed a sleeping routine for Ashlee. To ensure she sleeps through the nite, we let her nap at around 6 to 7pm, say about 2 hours max and then let her sleep again about 11pm. By doing so, we are pretty sure we do not need to wake up in the middle of the nite. And it worked :)
This morning, before sending her back to her nanny, we gave her the medication prescribed to her for cold. This time round she resisted and was screaming and crying. We had to deliberately pin her down to administer the medicine. Really hope we could avoid doing so because its really heartaching to see her suffers. We just hope she recovers from her running nose soon.
We will be bringing Ashlee back tonight again!
