In Bangkok

At last, after more than a year, mummy & daddy decided is time they take time off for a much deserved holiday (of coz, I wasn't part of their travel plan as according to mum, daddy think I'm too young to travel). Anyway, mummy & daddy went on a trip to Bangkok from 3-6 July. They mostly shop & eat. Here are some pictures of what they bought for me - YES! Most of the things they bought were for me:) Of coz, they ate many yummy food too.

3 July - Day 1 : Bangkok

This is the beautiful boutique hotel called “The Davis Bangkok”. A pretty decent place but the only negative side is that the location is pretty far away from the BTS (sky train). Luckily, the hotel provided free shuttle service to BTS station but the funny thing is that it only provided one way trip!

Wow, checkout all those delicious food! Mummy and daddy were eating at L'Espcae de L'Oriental inside Siam Paragon.

Look at all those nice stuff mummy bought me at Platinum (this is only the tip of the iceberg)! In fact, I benefited the most out of this trip. And I was not even there :)

What a fabulous place! This is the famous Bedsupper Club! Without fail, mummy and daddy will pay thisaurant a visit to enjoy the food and ambience this place has to cater. Diners get to lie down on the comfort of the bed while eating. It provides 3 course degustation dinning meno un weekdays. In addition, it also provides live artistic entertainment! And there is more! Next door is the disco floor but of coz mummy and daddy gave that a missed. Not becoz they feel old but they are juz too tired after a long day of shopping.

4 July - Day 2 : Bangkok

Day 2, another "pigout"day. Mummy and daddy had refreshment at the Jim Thomson cafe after spending a bomb at the boutique @ Central World. Daddy is seen here finishing a bottle of Sinha beer in less than 8 secs! Man he must be really thirsty after all the walking :) Mummy had a really nice cup of latte!

After refreshment, it was time for some serious dinner! Mummy suggested to have dinner along the roadside stalls (she passed by during day one and was enticed by the BBQ fish). But alas, it was pouring outside and so they decided to enroute to China Town for some cheap but delicious seafood.

Sharksfin Soup
Tom Yum Soup
Kang KongCrab Meat Vermicilli in Crab Shell Curry Prawn
Fried Squids
BBQ Prawns

Checkout the delicious seafood! There were sharkfin soup, tomyum soup, spicy kangkong, stuffed crab, chili prawn, calamari and BBQ prawn! It was babelicious!!!

Le Petit Pumm

Ovo, Baby Shelter and Gingersnaps

Little Miss Wacoal & Nike Mary Jane

Told you I benefited most out of thiis trip! :))) Mummy and daddy bought me more stuff to wear from various dept stores such as Isetan & Central. They are so gorgeous. Checkout my first pair of Nike Mary Jane!

5 July - Day 3: Bangkok

As usual, mummy and daddy went to the Chatuchak weekend market. This time round, both of them did not buy anything much (coz daddy has put on lots of weight and no longer fit into most nice clothings - he used to be a gym dude until I came & his life everything changed, no more gym only time for little ashlee!!!). Nonetheless, they still got me stuff, amazing parents, ya?! Of coz, they still have had a great time shopping and enjoy some refreshment and foods! Btw, stuff ain't as cheap as before. Everything has gone up up up and away!

Mummy didn't give up her desire to have a go at the roadside stall. Mummy and daddy went back to the roadside stall but not before going back, visited Jim Thomson cafe again (coz daddy bought mummy a beautiful handbag from Jim Thomson and they were given a ood voucher).

Eventually, they their dinner at the roadside stall. They order the local beef steamboat, fried intestine, and of coz the BBQ fish! As usual, daddy had his beer, 2 huge bottles (and more after dinner at another night market)! Anyway, the food were pretty nice but nothing fantastic thou.

6 July - Day 4 : Bangkok

Last day in Bangkok! Mummy and daddy went to MBK to do some last min shopping. They chance upon this Japan Restaurant that served shabu shabu. Pretty delicious stuff. Check it out!

Before they head back to the hotel to pick up their stuff to airport, mummy and daddy went to Emporium's Salon De Oriental and had coffee and cake.

Of coz mummy and daddy did not forget about our dear Sashah. Here are some stuff they bought for her.
